This page will grow: The STARFLEET International website has lost content, and some services and information may take time to return. We will add links to programmes and resources here as they become available. In the meantime, a link below may be unavailable or may lead to a page with limited information.
Explore beyond the Typhon
Your chapter is one part of STARFLEET International. If you are an SFI member, you can connect with people beyond the Typhon through education, interest groups, regional activities and Fleet projects. You can explore a subject you enjoy, learn skills that help your department or volunteer for a wider role. Start with what interests you and take part at a pace that works for you.
For an introduction to the organisation and the Typhon's place in Region 11, read STARFLEET International. If you have not joined SFI, Membership & Support explains why crew might consider it and where to find joining information. Check each programme's current membership and participation requirements before signing up.
STARFLEET Educational Services
STARFLEET Educational Services offers courses across Star Trek subjects and a range of other interests. You might study for enjoyment, explore something new or bring what you learn back to a Typhon activity. Check its site for current course information and access instructions when available.
Officer Training School (OTS), Officer Command College (OCC) and the STARFLEET Data Protection Policy course (SFDPP) have been listed through Educational Services for eligible SFI members. Their current availability and enrolment requirements should be checked with Educational Services. Completing a course does not automatically give you a chapter role or a promotion.
Science and medical interests
STARFLEET Sciences and STARFLEET Medical are starting points for members interested in science and medical themes. You do not have to hold a matching Typhon department position to be curious about these subjects. Check each programme for its current activities and participation requirements when information becomes available.
Learning and Typhon points
The Typhon roster lists eligible Academy courses, OTS, OCC, SFDPP and some other qualifications among its Ways to Earn Points. The points page shows each recorded value and limit. Keep evidence of completed work, review My Points History and use Claim Activity Points if an eligible activity has not been recorded. Points contribute to promotion progress, but they do not grant a promotion automatically.
Find your own path: You can take a course because it looks fun, join a Fleet programme because you care about its work or put your skills to use in a wider role. Ask your Department Chief or Command Staff if you would like help finding a starting point.
Until our next mission
You have reached the end of the USS Typhon Officers Manual. Thank you for taking the time to read it. We hope it has helped you understand how the chapter works, where to find support and the many ways you can take part.
Keep the manual close whenever you need a reminder, and speak with your Department Chief or Command Staff when you have a question. We look forward to seeing what you bring to the crew.
