Awards reference: Names, descriptions, classes, authorities and precedence come from the roster database. Ribbon designs come from the roster awards catalogue. SVG artwork is served from the roster’s graphics directory. Fleet, Region and Chapter identify the recorded awarding authority, not automatic eligibility.
Awards recognise service, contribution and achievement. They are distinct from approved point activities and promotions. An award does not itself grant points unless a separate approved rule says so. Ask your Department Chief or Command Staff about eligibility or nominations.
Tribbons
Tribbons are our nickname for the triangular award ribbons inspired by Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The photos below show examples of them being worn and displayed. We would like to adopt this style as a visible way to recognise members’ efforts with our Picard-era uniforms. Adoption at Region and Fleet level is also being discussed, but has not been decided.
Where to see your awards
Once an award has been recorded, you can view it in your roster profile or in the dashboard:
- Your public profile: Open your own roster profile and select the Awards tab. The Awards tab on this public profile shows an example, but it will not take you to your own profile.
- Service Awards: After logging in, go to Awards & Certs → Service Awards to see your recorded service awards.
- Tribbon Rack Viewer: After logging in, open Crew Utilities → Tribbon Rack Viewer to experiment with how Tribbons look together in a rack. The viewer is for exploring the display, not for granting awards.
